From the 23th to the 26th of July, Kranj is hosting Zavarovalnica Sava Championship 2025 – a MEVZA Zonal Event. 16 of the best teams from Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Israel, Croatia, and Slovenia will compete for the title of Middle European Champions.

Wed, 23.7. – qualifications
Thu, 24.7. – group stage
Fri, 25.7. – elimination stage (1/8 and 1/4 finals)
Sat, 26.7. – semifinals and medal matches

Location

The main court and side courts are located in the multi-sport hub of Športni Park Stražišče – Škofjeloška cesta 14, 4000 Kranj, Slovenia.

GETTING TO ŠPORTNI PARK STRAŽIŠČE

  1. On foot – take the scenic Stražišče stairs from Ljubljanska cesta to shorten your path enjoy some views 
  2. By bus – on Friday and Saturday all city buses are free of charge from 16h to 01:30. Se the exact schedule here
  3. By car – there is dedicated free parking available here

Nearly 100 teams from 7 countries applied. 12 teams make it directly into the main draw based on points and countries. 16 teams compete in the qualifications for the remaining 4 spots in the main draw.
